Under new ownership the price shot way up. It's a 2 star motel with a 4 star price. We travel with 2 well behaved dogs & have stayed there many times. The Inn Of Washburn now charges $50 extra for the dogs AND raised the price for people as well. Too expensive for what you get.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location if you want to relax in the evening and enjoy a lake view. Outdoor seating, small walk across a grassy area and benches even closer to the water. Quiet area..not a ton of really close dining options, however nice grocery nearby, and heard positive things about a local pizza place (they delivered) and some positive about a local pub/grub place. My complaint was the shower was rather difficult to get hot water from. You could get it, but it took some directions from the front desk.
Wonderfully warm people. Comfortable room. Windows open for fresh lake, cool air! Would recommend highly. Richard makes you feel at home.
The beds were super comfy and it was clean.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Not sure what else you could ask for. A great location on the water. A walking path to a beach and walking distance to a beautiful downtown area makes you wonder why their rates were as low as they were.
This was probably the best experience that I have ever had at any front desk anywhere. The couple at the desk were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Great location overlooking the water. No elevator from what i could find. The pillows are too tightly confined within their covers creating pretty uncomfortable pillows. Clean bathrooms.
